Material and methods: The systematic review of the 10 scientific articles evidenced on the effectiveness of the use of double gloves as a surgical barrier in the surgical center team. They were analyzed according to the Grade system to determine the strength and quality of the evidence. Of the 10 articles, 40% (4/10) correspond to the methodological design of randomized controlled trials, 20% (2/10) systematic reviews, 10% (1/10) experimental, 30% (3/10 ) are cases and control. 30% of articles come from the US and 10% are found in Nigeria, Canada, China, Spain, Türkiye, the Republic of Macedonia and Ethiopia. Results: According to the evidence found, 100% of the authors demonstrate that the use of double gloves is effective as a surgical barrier in the surgical center team, avoiding the perforation of the gloves during surgical procedures, thus reducing contact with blood and fluids. body fluids. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 10 indicate that the use of double gloves is effective as a surgical barrier for surgical center equipment, preventing perforation of the gloves during surgical procedures and thus reducing proximity to fluids.
