Materials and Methods: This is a systematic review of 10 articles selected from the PubMed, Scielo, and Dialnet databases in Spanish and Portuguese, published in the last 10 years. Results: 80% of the articles indicate that nursing staff have been victims of workplace violence. 70% of the articles reviewed focus primarily on women. 60% of the articles identify the types of aggression: verbal and physical.
