Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of electronic nursing records and work performance in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima - 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-11) Sanchez Salazar, Sara; Molina Torres, Jose GregorioIn nursing practice, work performance is defined as the demonstration of the functions and responsibilities assumed in the exercise of their profession, which contributes to meet the needs of the patient, family and health team in general, where the technical, professional and ethical influence received during their training and improvement, is expressed in the alternatives of the quality of the work adopted. This applies to the work of the patient's records, which the nurse performs to also demonstrate the quality of his or her practice. Therefore, the present study has as OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the quality of electronic nursing records and work performance in the Intensive Care Unit of a Hospital in Lima-2023. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional research will be carried out. We will work with 80 nurses working in the Intensive Care Unit of a public hospital in Lima. To measure the two variables, observation will be used as a technique and an observation guide for the two variables Solís (2019) In the descriptive statistics, tables and frequency figures will be elaborated with the results. Inferential statistics will be used to calculate parameters and test population hypotheses. Once tested, the data will be entered into the SPSS application for analysis and interpretation. To statistically examine the relationship between the two key variables, Spearman's Rho will be used.
