Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, 11 articles were chosen, 18% (2) correspond to Brazil, 18% (2) correspond to Peru, 18% (2) correspond to England, 28% (3) correspond to Mexico, 9%(1) corresponds to Portugal and 9%(1) corresponds to Spain. 73% are cross-sectional descriptive studies, 18% are systematic reviews, and 9% correspond to clinical trials. Results: According to the articles analyzed, 82% affirm that the holistic care of nurses within the framework of humanized care improves the quality and satisfaction of hospitalized older adult users. According to the authors, there are effective interventions contemplated in the dimensions of monitoring and follow-up, warmth, education, risk-free care, communication and research. An article also tells us that the motivations of nursing staff for satisfaction in their activities are: teamwork, remuneration and infrastructure. Conclusions: the effective interventions of the nurse are based on comprehensive care, within the framework of humanized care conceived as timely, continuous, safe, personalized, warm and efficient care which positively influences the quality of nursing care and satisfaction of hospitalized older adults.
