Ítem Acceso abierto Factors associated with anxiety in health personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic, at the Santa Isabel Clinic - 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-05) Saucedo Jaimes, Andrea; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaThis research was conducted with the aim of “Determining the predisposing factors associated with anxiety in health personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Santa Isabel clinic”. In this descriptive, quantitative and correlational cross-sectional study, a population sample of 104 health professionals was administered a questionnaire that allowed obtaining information regarding the factors associated with anxiety. The results showed that 33.7% were professionals between 40 - 49 years of age, 46% were single and 67.3% had at least one child; likewise, 48.1% were nursing technicians, 50% showed concern about becoming infected with COVID-19 and especially infecting their family members (74%), 71.2% showed satisfaction with the PPE received, and 65% did not consider that there was work overload. After applying the statistical test Chi square" with a level of significance (p = 0.05) for the contracting of the hypotheses, it was concluded that, within the predispositional factors and activating factors, they are not associated with anxiety, maintenance factors are significantly associated with anxiety.
