    Level of dependence and quality of life in older adults at the Geronto — Geriatric Ignacia Rodulfo Viuda de Canevaro Residential Care Center, Rímac — 2019

    Objective: Determine the relationship between level of dependency and quality of life in older adults at the Geronto Residential Care Center - Ignacia Rodulfo Viuda de Canevaro Geriatric Center, Rimac— 2019. Material and methods: The present research has a descriptive - correlational and Cross section, the population was made up of a total of 333 residents, from which a sample of 100 older adults was obtained. The instrument used was the Barthel index that allows knowing the level of dependency and the SF-36 Questionnaire in reference to health-related quality of life. Results: There is a statistically significant relationship between level of dependency and quality of life with a correlation index of 0.713 (p > 0.05) and a significance value of 0.000, therefore, the variables have a strong directly proportional relationship with a margin of error of 0.05 (5%). Conclusions: The independent level prevailed with 56%, likewise it was obtained that severe dependence was 4%; For quality of life, high quality of life prevailed with 46%, as well as low quality of life with 2%.

    Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about the earthquake and the attitude of the nursing staff in the Emergency Service of a National Hospital, Lima-2023. Methods: The hypothetical deductive methodology with a quantitative approach in the development of the research work because it will apply statistical methods to show the results of the variables studied, the type of research will be applied, for the execution of the research study an observational design will be carried out. of a correlational type, since the data collection will be carried out at a specific moment, in the present research work there will be one hundred and twenty professional nurses who perform their functions in the emergency service of a national hospital in the district of Cercado of Lima in the Lima province, during the year 2023.
