Materials and methods: this is a quantitative, basic, non-experimental or observational, correlational, cross-sectional study. From a population of 81 nurses in the health area. The instruments used were: for burnout syndrome, "MBI- Human Services Survey", created by Masclach, and for job satisfaction, "Font roja de satisfacción laboral", created by Aranza, both instruments are valid and adequate for the proposed research work. Result: In the burnout syndrome, a high rate was demonstrated at the level of the personal fulfillment dimension in relation to job satisfaction at 49.1% and its p-value of 0.398, however, the predominant dimension was depersonalization in nurses concurring at the medium level in the two variables with 53.6%. Conclusions: There is a minimal functional and significant relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction. In the depersonalization dimension, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected in a minimum positive way (Rho= 0.271) in the nursing staff in clinic Lima center 2023. On the other hand, there is no relationship in the dimensions.
