    The objective is to determine the psychosocial factors that are related to work absenteeism of nursing professionals in an Institute in Lima, 2024. The research methodology was quantitative in approach, having a non-experimental design, with a correlational level. The population was the hospital's nursing staff of 130 people with a census-sample. The results reveal that there is no significant correlation between work absenteeism and psychosocial factors (p=0.811, Rho=0.21), however, a correlation was found between work absenteeism and behavioral factors (p=0.001; Rho=- 0.27) and social factors (p=0.007; Rho=0.23). Therefore, it is concluded that psychosocial factors are not related to work absenteeism in nursing professionals from an institute in Lima, although the dimensions "behavioral factors" and "social factors" did show a significant relationship with work absenteeism.
