In this context, the study proposed as an objective to determine the relationship between work factors and stress in the nursing professionals of the surgery services of the Central Military Hospital. While the methodology used was, of application type and descriptive level, with correlational design and in transactional time, with 85 professional nurse participants, administering two questionnaires Labor Factors and Stress, the data were contrasted with the Chi-square coefficient Pearson's 5% statistical significance. The result of the study showed that 65% of the nursing professionals would be mediately affected by work factors, with a predominance of 50.6% in the pressure and demand dimension, while 78.8% high levels of stress, with a high proportion 81.2% in the stress dimension psychological. Regarding the conclusions, a significant association was found between work factors and stress in nursing professionals. In addition, it has been shown that work factors are associated with the dimensions of physical and social stress.
