Publicación Acceso abierto Manifestaciones del climaterio con relación al estrés laboral en mujeres mayores de 46 años en el Mercado Señor de Muruhuay, San Juan de Miraflores, julio – diciembre 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-02-27) Medina Araya, Almendra Shantal; Sivacollo Huamán, Sara; Chávez Flores, Juana ElviraThe objective was to determine the relationship between the manifestations of the climacteric with work stress in women over 46 years of age in the Mercado Señor de Muruhuay, San Juan de Miraflores, July-December 2024. Method. The study was correlational in scope, quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, hypothetical deductive method, sample 169 women, with surveys and use of a questionnaire the data was collected, using Spearman's Rho analysis the hypothesis was contrasted. Results. Of 169 women, 59.8% were between 51-60 years old; 52.1% were married; 19.5% were overweight; in the climacteric there were moderate somatic and urogenital manifestations; Of them, 46.7% had joint pain; 22.5% hot flashes or night sweats; 40.8% insomnia; 42.6% palpitations, 26% dizziness, 42% increased frequency of urination and 17.8% presented mild vaginal dryness, the manifestations psychological symptoms were mild, 36.1% presented mood changes; 39.1% irritability; 34.3% lost concentration and 35.5% presented moderate sadness and depression. In work stress, it was observed that rarely 16.6% were unable to fall asleep; 16.6% pain in different parts of the body, 34.3% gastrointestinal indigestion; 13.6% decreased interest in sex; 4.1% gasped for breath, 65.7% presented mild stress; 30.2% moderate stress and 4.1% high stress. There was a significant correlation between climacteric manifestations and work stress (p<0.05). Conclusion. There is a low positive relationship between climacteric manifestations and work stress in women over 46 years of age.
