Ítem Acceso abierto Effects of respiratory physiotherapy on peak expiratory flow in post-COVID 19 patients in a hospital in Chanchamayo, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-18) Solis Loyola, Sussy Diana; Diaz Mau, Aimee YajairaPeople who developed moderate to severe COVID-19 tend to develop long-term illness with persistent symptoms, also known as sequelae; the most prominent sequelae were respiratory. Various studies validate respiratory physiotherapy as the recommended treatment to improve lung function in post-COVID-19 patients, as it includes techniques that improve pulmonary ventilation and respiratory and peripheral muscle strength. Peak expiratory flow is an index that allows us to measure the condition of large airway pathways, determining changes in pulmonary function after respiratory physiotherapy.
