    Depression is considered a mental disorder, as evidenced by the WHO, characterized by a loss of interest, discouragement, feelings of guilt or low self-esteem, along with sleep disorders, appetite changes, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. Quality of life is defined as a value unique to each individual, influenced by their subjective perception and related to their social, physical, economic, and political environment. These factors influence patients with stroke.
