    Depression and social support in older adults of the pension 65 program in times of Covid-19, Tarma 2021

    Depression in people over 65 years of age has a high prevalence and produces a negative impact on quality of life. Objective: To determine the relationship of depression with social support in older adults of the Pension 65 Program in times of COVID-19, Tarma 2021 Method: Research with a quantitative approach, correlational level, cross-sectional and prospective, the population under study will be the older adults assigned to the Pension 65 social program in the province of Tarma, the non-probabilistic convenience sampling technique where n = 90. The instrument used for the first variable will be the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale GDS abbreviated and the Family and Friends Social Support Scale. Finally, it is intended to prove that there is a significant relationship between depression and family social support in older adults of the Pension 65 Program in times of COVID-19, Tarma 2021
