Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of life and job satisfaction in the nursing staff of a private institution - 2021.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-21) Sparrow Falcon, Karla Rosmery; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective: To determine the relationship between quality of life and job satisfaction among nursing staff in a private institution in 2021. Materials and Methods: The study is non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional. The population consisted of approximately 200 nurses, and the sample was 80 staff members from the private institution. The technique used was the survey, with the data collection instrument for the quality of life variable being the WHOQOL-BREF form (WHO, 1996), and for the job satisfaction variable, the SL-SPC job satisfaction scale questionnaire (Palma, 2005) was applied. Results: The variable of nurses' quality of life is medium/regular, with 86.25% (69), 10% (8) have low quality of life, and only 3.75% have good quality of life. According to the job satisfaction variable, 46.2% (37) of the nurses reported an average level, followed by 33.7% (27) who are satisfied, 12.5% (10) and 3.7% (3) who are dissatisfied and very dissatisfied, respectively, and only 3.7% (3) are very satisfied. Conclusion: There is a moderate correlation between the variables of quality of life and job satisfaction.
