The 10 pieces of evidence found according to the type of research, 30% (3/10) are experimental, 10% (1/10) quasi-experimental and 60% (6/10) transversal, 30% of the evidence found comes from from Mexico and 20% from Brazil and 10% from Poland, Argentina, Iran, India and Venezuela respectively. Results: The results obtained from the systematic review show that, of the total of 10 articles reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) show that biological indicators are effective to ensure and guarantee the sterilization of dental surgical instruments, a process that It is in charge of specialist nurses in hospital sterilization centers and in the private sector. It is still a space that deserves more studies and will probably be another scenario for the work of specialist nurses in the future. Conclusion: The 10 reviewed articles are 100% effective in ensuring and guaranteeing the sterilization of dental surgical instruments, and the biological indicators allow the certification of quality in sterilization processes.
