    Determinación de una técnica analítica por cromatografía en capa fina para identificación de Barbitúricos y Fenotiazinas en muestra biológica (orina)

    The present research work entitled "Determination of an analytical technique by thin layer chromatography for the identification of barbiturates and phenothiazines in a biological sample (urine)", aims to determine an analytical technique by thin layer chromatography (TLC) for the identification of barbiturates and phenothiazines. The methodology used was analytical, descriptive and observational, using 30 biological urine fluids as samples. The results report that the phenothiazine was identified using the iodine platinate and Dragendorff revealing reagents, giving a violet-blue color, accentuated by sprinkling 10% hydrochloric acid, which indicates a positive reaction. Likewise, the revealing reagents formaldehyde plus sulfuric acid and the mercury revealing reagent gave a positive result for barbiturates, through the appearance of a whitish color. Conclusions: An analytical technique using thin layer chromatography was identified to identify phenothiazines and barbiturates in biological urine samples.
