Materials and Methods: Observational as well as retrospective systematic review, which is a synthesis of the results of various primary investigations. Which constitutes an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to its strict methodology, identifying and prioritizing the main studies that answer specific questions of clinical practice, the search has been restricted to those articles with full text, and selected articles which They were subjected to a critical reading, using the grade system to assign the strength of recommendation. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were included on the effectiveness of a computerized management and traceability system in sterilization centers, which were found in databases such as Medline, Pubmed, Cochrane, Ebsco and Lilacs. Including 5 Experimental, 3 Quasi-experimental and 2 Cross-sectional studies; Of the evidence found, 40% come from Brazil, 20% from Spain, the other 20% from China and 10% from Japan and Cuba respectively. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) show the effectiveness of a computerized management and traceability system in sterilization centers, a process carried out by the nursing professional specialized in sterilization centers.
