    Level of knowledge and its relationship with exclusive breastfeeding practices in primiparous mothers with children under 6 months, at the Huaycan Lima Este Hospital 2023

    Objective: Analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding practices in primiparous mothers with children under 6 months, Hospital de Huaycán Lima 2023. Methodology: A quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, cutting study approach was developed. cross; The population is made up of 400 primiparous mothers who take their children under six months of age to monitor their growth and development at the Huaycán Lima 2023 Hospital, using probabilistic sampling, they made up the sample. Results. The level of knowledge in dimension basic concepts of breastfeeding with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice in 71.6%. The level of knowledge in its benefits dimension with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice in 58%. The level of knowledge in its technical dimension of breastfeeding with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice 61.4%. The level of knowledge with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice 77.3%.
