Ítem Acceso abierto Psychological changes in women undergoing fertility therapy at the fertility and assisted reproduction center - CEFRA, July - 2020”(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-01-06) Suplihuiche Dominguez, Mirtha; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaMaterials and Methods: Quantitative study, prospective/descriptive cross-sectional design, with a population of 120 women aged 18 to 45 years undergoing fertility therapy and assisted reproduction at the CEFRA center, with a non-probabilistic sample of 70 women selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The survey technique was applied using a standardized questionnaire by the College of Psychologists of Peru (2014) and reliable by the author Ruiz Sánchez (2017). Results: Of the 100% (63) surveyed by age, the majority were 36-40 years old (54.0%). By origin, most were from metropolitan Lima (46%). Regarding infertility diagnosis, the majority responded "yes" (65.1%). In the emotional adjustment dimension, 52.4% (33) had a regular level, while in the adaptive resources dimension, 44.4% (28) had a regular level. In the personal factors subdimension, the majority were at a medium level (55.6%, 35), and for the interpersonal factors subdimension, most were at a medium level (57.1%, 36). For DERA, the majority had a medium level (55.6%, 35). Conclusion: Most women undergoing fertility therapy at the Assisted Reproduction Center – CEFRA experienced psychological changes due to DERA at a medium level.
