Its relationship with job performance is influenced by many factors depending on organizational management. Therefore, this relationship of variables is more complex than expected. Objective: The objective of the research is to establish the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance in professional healthcare workers at Hospital II Alberto Hurtado Abadía de EsSalud - La Oroya Junín. Methodology: It is a quantitative, non-experimental, crosssectional study, correlational and prospective, the population of 110 professional assistance workers of Hospital II Alberto Hurtado Abadía de EsSalud was included. The survey and virtual qualification were used as study techniques, in addition to the interview. As instruments the survey and interview questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS 25, using the statistical correlation test for Spearman's Rho ordinal data and Kolmogorov Smirnov normality. Results: We found that 82.7% of professional workers have a high level of job satisfaction, while 17.3% have average satisfaction. 70.9% of professional workers have a very good level of job performance, followed by 7.3% with an excellent level. The male sex had a high level of job satisfaction (93.2%) and a very good job performance (79.5%). The professional staff with a CAS contract (D.L. 1057) had a high level of job satisfaction (100%) and a very good job performance (100%). The medical professional had a high level of job satisfaction (94.9%) and a very good job performance (82.1%). A value p=0.000 (<0.01) was found, which rejects the null hypothesis; therefore, it finds a significant relationship between the variables; Likewise, the value of the correlation coefficient is R=0.771, which indicates that the relationship is direct and strong. Conclusions: The research carried out established that there is a relationship between the job satisfaction and job performance variables, and their degree of correlation (R=0.771) is direct and strong.
