Publicación Acceso abierto Evaluación de la incidencia de las estrategias de fortalecimiento de la competencia lectoescritora sobre las dimensiones de la comprensión lectora en estudiantes del grado quinto de la Institución Educativa Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Ayala del Municipio de Bello, Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia, 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-05-09) Tamayo Bedoya, Hernando León; Rivera Arellano, Edith GisselaThe objective of this study was to evaluate the incidence of strategies to strengthen literacy skills on the dimensions of reading comprehension on fifth grade students of the Jorge Eliecer Gaitan Ayala Educational Institution in the municipality of Bello, department of Antioquia, Colombia, 2017. The average age of the population under study is 11 years, belonging to strata 1, 2 and 3. It was developed with an experimental design of the quasi-experimental type with a pre-test and post-test with two intact groups and tests were used as instruments. reading comprehension-sample questions- Standardized Test Saber 5th - 2014 and 2015 from the Ministry of National Education. The statistical test used to perform the hypothesis test was the non parametric Mann-Whitney U test, which allows to compare the medians between the groups: experimental and control. With a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error type I (α) of 0.05 (5%), the results showed a negligible influence of the influence of the reading and writing competence on reading comprehension and the need for renewal of conceptual and didactic tools by teachers and actors that guide the training processes.
