The main objective of this project is to determine the relationship between complementary feeding practices and iron deficiency anemia in children aged 6 to 24 months, at the Llanavilla Health Post in Villa el Salvador, Lima - 2021. The present study has a hypothetical deductive research method with a quantitative approach, applied type, correlational and transversal design. The population and sample are children under 24 months of age treated at the Llanavilla Health Post in the first half of the current year, and the technique that will be applied is the survey, and at the same time the documentary record will be used to extract the results of hemoglobin. Finally, to measure the variable, complementary feeding practice, it is based on a questionnaire, which is made up of 13 items and divided into two dimensions, which are: types of food that determines 6 questions and frequency of food consumption by 7 questions, of In this way, the evaluation scale is established. This instrument was created in 2016 by the researchers: Álvarez Quiñones, Huamani Mendoza, Montoya Jiménez, Clara Trinidad, from the Cayetano Heredia University, and Validated by expert judgment, its reliability is 0.81 by Cron Bach's alpha, which makes this instrument reliable for the application.
