Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the educational program: ergonomic intervention to reduce musculoskeletal problems in workers in the industrial sector.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-24) Tejada Santisteban, Gladys Milagros; Leyva Evaristo, Maritza Gladys; Pretell Aguliar, Rosa MaríaObjective: To systematize the evidence on educational programs: ergonomic intervention to reduce musculoskeletal problems in industrial workers. Material and Methods: The type of study is quantitative, the design of a systematic review, were obtained from the databases Pubmed, Scielo, Medline, Dialnet, ProQuest, Tripdatabase, Cochrane. Of the 10 articles reviewed according to the research designs 50% (n = 5/10) are quasi-experimental, 40% (n = 4/10) are systematic reviews and the other 10% (n = 1/10) are pre-experimental. According to the quality of the evidence was found to be high at 100% and the strength of recommendation was strong at 100%, according to the country where the research was carried out, they concern Spain 50%, Chile, London, Brazil, Canada and the USA 10% each. Results: In this review it is evident that 80% (8/10) point out the effectiveness of the ergonomic educational program in reducing musculoskeletal injuries in workers in the industrial sector, so they recommend that active breaks should be applied in the workplace to preserve the health of the worker and 20% (2/10) do not show the effectiveness, likewise they suggest carrying out this type of study with more time for its application and achieve high results. Conclusion: 8 of 10 reviewed and analyzed evidences show the effectiveness of educational programs in occupational ergonomics and 2 of 10 of the investigations deny the effectiveness, because they found no benefits of the educational programs.
