    This research analyzed the extent to which the use of the educational website Etnofísica, as a complement to academic activities, improves scientific competencies in physics among 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students at Monseñor Alfonso Uribe Jaramillo Educational Institution in La Ceja (2016). The study was applied in nature, with an explanatory level, a quantitative approach, and a pre-experimental design, as it did not include a control group. Pretest and posttest assessments were administered to measure changes. The population consisted of 560 students, from which a representative random sample of 224 students was selected. The variables analyzed included knowledge acquisition, development of scientific skills, and scientific attitudes in physics. One general hypothesis and three specific hypotheses were formulated and all were confirmed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon test, since the data did not show a normal distribution. The results demonstrated significant improvements in the ability to explain physical phenomena, solve problems, work collaboratively, ask relevant questions, and communicate scientific ideas. It is concluded that integrating ICT through the Etnofísica website strengthens scientific competencies, increases student motivation, and promotes the development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and teamwork.
