Estilo de vida y asma en adultos atendidos en una Botica de San Martín de Porres, Lima 2023

The objective is to relate lifestyle and asthma in adults treated at a pharmacy in San Martín de Porres, Lima, 2023. The hypothetical-deductive method was used, with a quantitative approach, basic research, a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The population consisted of adults with asthma; the sample was a simple random probability sample. The technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. The data obtained were tabulated using codes in Excel and then exported to SPSS version 25. The statistical results for each indicator are as follows: the most frequent age was between 20 and 40 years (40.5%), and the majority were women (56.9%) with higher education (80%). Furthermore, it was observed that the adults presented a moderate lifestyle category (80%), as well as the dimension..." Regarding nutrition, it was highlighted that 1.8% had insufficient nutrition; however, only 2.1% presented a high level of physical activity. Furthermore, 69.1% presented a euthymic mood, and with respect to unhealthy practices, most were of the minimal or absent type (61.8%). Regarding the hypothesis, it was confirmed using Spearman's Rho test. It was concluded that there is a correlation between lifestyle and asthma (Rho = -0.283) with a significance level of less than 0.05.
