Publicación Acceso abierto Conocimiento sobre el consumo de micronutrientes y la prevención de la anemia en niños de 6 a 48 meses, en el Centro de Salud Virgen del Pilar de Nazaret Lima Metropolitana 2021–2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-05-18) De la Roca Contreras, Jose Luis; Tinco Quispe, Lizalbe Cristian; Parreño Tipián, Juan ManuelThe objective of this thesis is to determine the relationship between knowledge about the consumption of micronutrients and the prevention of anemia in children aged 6 to 48 months at the Virgen del Pilar de Nazaret health center in Metropolitan Lima, 2021-2022. Method: A descriptive, correlational, prospective, and cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach was conducted. A 25-question questionnaire was used as an instrument, and a representative sample of 80 mothers was worked with. Results: Of the 100% of mothers surveyed, 63.75% had a regular level of knowledge about micronutrients, which was the most frequent level. 35.00% had a high level of knowledge, and 1.25% had a low level. 70.00% provided a medium level of anemia prevention, and 30.00% provided a high level. Additionally, the relationship between the level of knowledge of micronutrients and the prevention of anemia (Rho=694) was found to be a moderate-type relationship, indicating that they are directly proportional. Conclusion: It was determined that a significant relationship exists between knowledge of micronutrients and the prevention of anemia in children aged 6 to 48 months at the Virgen del Pilar de Nazaret health center in Metropolitan Lima, 2021-2022.
