The research methodology was quantitative, with a non experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional design. The results showed a very high and significant correlation between knowledge and attitudes (rho = 0.926; p = 0.000), confirming the positive relationship between both variables. Similarly, a significant association was found between knowledge and the three dimensions of attitudes: behavior, prejudice, and imitation, all with p values < 0.05. In conclusion, the study confirms that the level of knowledge among pharmacy staff is a determining factor in strengthening favorable attitudes toward generic medications.
