Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of the need to use an adequate strategy for the identification of a patient with sepsis in the prehospital setting.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-01-06) Tello Rodriguez, Iris Nadia; Torres Arce, Fiorella Geraldinne; Matta Solis, Hernan HugoObjective: Analyze and systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the need for an appropriate strategy to identify patients with sepsis in the prehospital environment. Materials and Methods: Systematic, observational, and retrospective review of a quantitative type, subjected to critical selection, using the GRADE evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence, found in the following databases: Sciencedirect, Pubmed, Dialnet, Redalyc, Scielo, Cochrane, Researchgate, Elsevier, Wiley Online Library, EBSCO, Epistemonikos. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 90% are of high quality, as described below: 60% (n= 6/10) are systematic reviews, 10% (n= 1/10) are randomized controlled trials, and 30% (n= 3/10) are cohort studies. According to the results of the systematic review carried out in this study, the studies come from the United Kingdom (40%), followed by Australia (10%), England (10%), USA (10%), Germany (10%), Canada (10%), and the Netherlands (10%). Results: Additionally, of the evidence found, 90% (n= 9/10) indicate that it would be effective to have an appropriate strategy for identifying sepsis patients in the prehospital environment. Conclusion: An appropriate and effective strategy is necessary to identify sepsis patients in the prehospital environment.
