    Knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding in mothers with children under six months of a Health Center of Los Olivos-Lima, 2020

    Determine the knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding in mothers with children under six months of age in a health center-2020. Material and method: It is a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional research, the sample was 50 mothers with children under six months. A survey on knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding, previously used by García, was used. Results: The mothers' knowledge was medium in 46%; low in 28% and high in 26% in the dimensions definition has low knowledge 40%, benefits has high knowledge 70%, breastfeeding techniques has medium knowledge 46% and manual milk expression has low knowledge 42% Conclusions: the mothers surveyed presented medium knowledge in the definition dimension, breastfeeding technique, high benefits and low milk extraction.
