For ethambutol and pyrazinamide, the prevalence of resistance was higher in women (64.9%), while for women (14.5%). Regarding isoniazid resistance, women had 18% compared to 12% in men. By district, 20% of patients in Villa el Salvador were resistant to isoniazid, 9% to rifampicin, and 4% in Villa María del Triunfo. Regarding clinical history, 19% of patients with isoniazid resistance were never treated; 26.7% had previously been treated; 22.3% were symptomatic respiratory patients; and 15.4% were asymptomatic. Of those with abnormal X-rays, 14.3% were resistant to the drug, and 22% were resistant to normal X-rays.
