Publicación Acceso abierto Incidencia de las TIC como apoyo pedagogico en el proceso de enseñanza de la lectura y escritura en niños y niñas de cuarto curso de basica primaria en la Ied Tecnica Medalla Milagrosa del Municipio de Chaparral Tolima Colombia(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-11) Tovar Grimaldo, Alvaro; Castañeda Alvarado, Elva LuzThe objective of this research is to evaluate, through prexperimental research pretestpostest design, in the educational context, the impact generated in the learning of reading and writing of the incorporation and use of ICT as a pedagogical support for teaching work within the teaching-learning process of reading and writing, in a classroom of 30 children of fourth grade of elementary school of the educational institution La Medalla Milagrosa in the municipality of Chaparral Colombia, in order to determine its objective applicability and to establish to what extent the use of new technologies of information and communications, generate a positive impact in order to improve the respective skills and competences of the learning of reading and writing in fourth grade students of primary school, for this purpose a diagnostic evaluation was initially carried out. In order to establish the state of skills and abilities in the area of reading and writing in such a way that a baseline was obtained before the application of the program of use and application of the TIC in the group under investigation, at the reading level the following dimensions were evaluated: vocalization, intonation, speed and reading comprehension, in the writing the dimensions of: grammatical construction, vocabulary and spelling were evaluated. The application of the use of Tic in terms of multimedia use for explanation of the language class, use of the PC for reading tasks, intonation and speed in the reading of basic level texts as well as reading comprehension, in the writing part texts on PC were used for copying and transcription and detection of spelling errors in texts designed for this purpose as exercises of synonyms and antonyms, dictation and evaluation of grammatical constructions about previously read texts, and use of dictionaries through web search of words and vocabulary, the application period of this methodology complements the traditional class according to the curriculum approved for this level of primary education by the MEN in public institutions of the Department of Tolima Colombia, also the investigation involved the evaluation of the teachers about their attitude and opinion about the use of ICTs as a complement of the traditional class in the IED, through the application of a Likert scale for this purpose, to evaluate The impact of the application on students was applied a scale that mediates their attitude and opinion about the changes perceived in each of the areas of reading and writing and their acceptance of the implemented program. The results were analyzed in a descriptive way and data were obtained that show a significant qualitative change in the reading skills of the target population. It also demonstrates a high level of participation and acceptance by teachers towards the new technologies in the teaching staff of the institution towards the use and application of ICTs in the area of Spanish and language in the courses evaluated. For the development of the research, studies conducted in this field at national and international level were reviewed at a theoretical and investigative level, which allowed to explore at a basic level the state of art and conceptualization of the use of ICTs in primary education and describe the benefits of these technologies for their innovation and dynamics in the teaching-learning process, at the research level, research provides and demonstrates the importance of conducting the so-called research in the classroom for its degree of information and impact at the level of methodology, pedagogy and didactics education, especially in populations with a high risk of social vulnerability, as in the case of the study presented.
