    This work will be carried out within the intensive care specialty, an area that houses patients in critical condition and who require the permanent support of nursing professionals, who must have the knowledge and practice necessary to perform specialized procedures such as aspiration of secretions, action required by some patients who are subjected to the need to use mechanical ventilation, exposing themselves to contracting pneumonia due to hospital-acquired infections that can complicate their situation and put their life at risk.
