    Objective: Determine the health-related quality of life in hypertensive patients treated in the outpatient clinic of an Essalud Hospital Establishment, 2020. Material and method: The study has a quantitative approach, its design is descriptive and cross-sectional. There was a population of 55 hypertensive patients from an Essalud Hospital Establishment, where the field work was carried out. The data collection technique was the survey and the data collection instrument was the CHAL questionnaire that measures the quality of life in people with hypertension. This measurement instrument is made up of 55 items that are grouped into two dimensions.
