    Problemas relacionados con medicamentos en pacientes con hipertensión arterial en las cadenas de botica BST en el distrito de Breña, Lima 2022

    Objective: To analyze drug-related problems (DRPs) in patients with arterial hypertension at BST pharmacy chains in the district of Breña. Method: Deductive. This study employed a quantitative approach, was applied in nature, and followed an observational, cross-sectional, and non-experimental design. It was applied to a sample of 150 adult patients diagnosed with arterial hypertension from BST pharmacy chains in the district of Breña. The instrument used was a data collection sheet, complemented by a pharmacotherapeutic follow-up form. The results were consistent with the objectives and supported by the literature. Results: A total of 168 drug-related problems were identified, with a proportion of 1.1 DRPs per patient. By dimensions, the results showed DRPs due to necessity at 49.7%, effectiveness-related DRPs at 19.3%, and safety-related DRPs at 31%. Among the study population, 63% were male.
