Publicación Acceso abierto Factores de riesgo asociados para la no adherencia al tratamiento en los pacientes diagnosticados con infecciones de transmisión sexual en el Centro de Salud Chancas de Andahuaylas– Santa Anita, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-12-18) Ulloa Yesquén, Nelly Esperanza; Velasquez Ortiz, Yessenia Elena; Collanque Pinto, Jesús DanielThe objective was to determine the relationship between risk factors and non-adherence to treatment in patients diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections at the Chancas de Andahuaylas Health Center - Santa Anita, 2023. Methodology: Type of basic research, hypothetical method- deductive, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional; descriptive level; The sample was 171 patients diagnosed with STI. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire, the reliability of the instrument demonstrated reliability where our Cronbach's Alpha test indicated 0.734, our instrument was acceptable and served to collect data that were analyzed and tested with the Chi-Square test. Results: The majority of the sample was made up of women (91.8%), aged between 24 and 29 years (44.4%). The predominant educational level was secondary (61.4%) and the majority were single (53.2%), 38% had lower abdominal pain syndrome, 73.7% had psychosocial characteristics, 38% had no adhere to the treatment and 62.0% adhere to the treatment (p<0.005). Conclusion: If there is a relationship between risk factors such as age, educational level and psychosocial characteristics with non adherence to treatment in the patients diagnosed with STIs.
