External factors can improve or limit the student's perception, both in its social and institutional factors; These occur in all university students, among the external factors we can find both their family environment and their institutional environment. These factors can generate different distractions in student learning, producing short and long-term alterations. On the other hand, learning is the way in which new attitudes towards different activities are modified or acquired, it can be classified in different theories and strategies, for each type of situation or activity. It depends on the type of learning of each student improves their direct response to their current situations. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between external factors in the achievement of learning in students of a private university, in order to act appropriately and improve learning in each of them, also improve the student environment to future generations. As a research method, the survey was used, carrying out a questionnaire for each variable, with a population of 180 students, a sample of 82 was obtained. The final result is that the external factors are related to the achievement of learning with a coefficient of Spearman's Rho correlation equal to 0. 317.
