    Estilo de vida y el estado nutricional en pacientes adultos mayores con hipertension arterial en emergencia de un Hospital Nacional de Lima, 2025

    Objetivo: Determinar la relación del estilo de vida y el estado nutricional en los pacientes adultos mayores con hipertensión arterial atendidos en el servicio de emergencia de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2025. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 250 pacientes, de los cuales se seleccionaron 100 mediante un muestreo aleatorio simple. El diseño metodológico fue de tipo aplicado, con un enfoque cuantitativo, utilizando el método hipotético-deductivo y un diseño no experimental de corte transversal retrospectivo, con un nivel descriptivo correlacional. Para la recolección de datos, se emplearon dos instrumentos: el cuestionario “Estilos de vida” desarrollado por Walker y colaboradores, con una confiabilidad de 0.794 mediante el Alfa de Cronbach y la tabla de valoración nutricional del MINSA, según la Resolución Ministerial N° 240-2013, para determinar el estado nutricional, ambos considerados técnicamente confiables. El procesamiento y análisis de los datos se realizó mediante estadística descriptiva para organizar los resultados en tablas de frecuencia y gráficos, y estadística inferencial mediante la prueba de Pearson, con el propósito de verificar la relación entre las variables estudiadas

    Risk factors related to abandoning anti-tuberculosis treatment in patients attending the Huayrona health center, Lima 2022

    Objective: Determine the relationship of risk factors with abandonment of anti-tuberculosis treatment in patients attending the La Huayrona Health Center, Lima 2022. Materials and methods: Non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational level, the method used was hypothetical-deductive. . The study worked with the total population of 60 patients. The Novoa, D. questionnaire was used as an instrument for both variables. The cross tables were analyzed using Spearman's correlation and the contracting of the hypothesis was analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon test. Results: There is a significant relationship between risk factors and abandonment of anti-tuberculosis treatment (P= 0.000 < 0.05). Regarding the sociodemographic dimension, it is significantly related to abandoning anti-tuberculosis treatment (P= 0.000 < 0.05). Likewise, the economic dimension is related to the abandonment of anti-tuberculosis treatment (P= 0.000 < 0.05). It was also found that the disease dimension is not related to the abandonment of anti-tuberculosis treatment (P=0.180 >0.05). Finally, it was found that the health facility dimension is not related to abandonment of anti-tuberculosis treatment (P= 0.102 >0.05). In conclusion, the risk factors are significantly related to the abandonment of anti-tuberculosis treatment in patients attending the La Huayrona Health Center, Lima 2022.
