    In this study it was proposed to "Determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and social skills in students of the Faculty of Psychology of a National University of Lima 2023". The hypothetical-deductive method was used with a quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correctional and transectional approach. The sample consisted of 80 students who are in the sixth year of psychology at the National University of Lima, 2023. For the collection of information, the BarOn Emotional Intelligence test was used as instruments to measure variable I, and for the variable II: Social Skills the Goldstein Test. The results of the application of the Rho Spearman statistical test show a value of 0.783 for emotional intelligence and social skills and a bilateral significance of 0.000 that allowed us to confirm the alternative hypothesis and affirm that there is a statistically significant relationship between emotional intelligence and social skills. in students of the Faculty of Psychology of a National University of Lima 2023.
