However, there are various factors today, such as workload, managerial support, and intrinsic motivation, that affect the quality of life of nurses, which in turn impacts their work performance. This situation has also been identified in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital II Ramón Castilla in Lima and raises great concern, as it jeopardizes the quality of patient care. Objective: To determine the relationship between quality of life and job performance of nurses in the Intensive Care Unit of Hospital II Ramón Castilla-2022. Materials and Methods: The research will be quantitative, basic, and descriptive-correlational. Forty nurses will participate. The technique will be a survey, and the instruments will be two questionnaires to measure the variables of quality of life and job performance.
