Material and methods: Quantitative, cross-sectional approach and non-experimental design, with a sample of 50 patients from the San José Geriatric Police Hospital. Results: 70% of patients presented medium satisfaction, and 30% indicated feeling dissatisfied with nursing care. 86% of patients presented medium satisfaction, and 14% indicated they felt dissatisfied with nursing care in the reliability dimension. 48% of patients presented medium satisfaction, and 52% indicated feeling dissatisfied with nursing care in the capacity dimension. 100% of patients are dissatisfied with nursing care in the safety dimension. 90% of patients presented medium satisfaction, and 10% indicated feeling dissatisfied with nursing care in the empathy dimension. 90% of patients presented medium satisfaction, and 10% indicated feeling dissatisfied with nursing care in the tangible aspects dimension. Conclusions: More than half of the patients were moderately satisfied.
