The study method was deductive with a quantitative approach, correlational analytical type and non-experimental design. The population consisted of 95 users treated at the La Libertad Center, specifically in the Obstetrics and General Medicine service. The results were: of the 95 users, 49.5% attended the obstetrics service and 50.5% attended the medicine service, the age of 20 to 35 years was the most reported (obstetrics 68.1% and medicine 54.2%), marital status single was the most frequent (obstetrics 42.6% and medicine 37.5%), education was secondary level (obstetrics 61.7% and medicine 64.6%) and the occupation of obstetrics users was independent in 42.6% and medicine 43.8% are housewives, 95.4% of the satisfied users considered that the waiting time was adequate, 94.9% of the satisfied users considered that the attention in the admission procedures the waiting time was adequate, 97% of the users satisfied considered that the attention time before the consultation was adequate and 95.6% of satisfied users mentioned that the attention time during the consultation was adequate. It is concluded that there is a high positive correlation (0.803) between waiting time and user satisfaction at the La Libertad Health Center.
