The study has a quantitative approach with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. It will involve 90 patients with central venous catheters in the hemodialysis area of the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital. Two questionnaires will be applied: one to measure knowledge about self-care with vascular access, consisting of 27 items with three alternatives, divided into 5 dimensions: Personal Care and Hygiene (8 items), Catheter Care during Bathing (8 items), Symptoms of Catheter Affectation (5 items), Catheter Damage (3 items), Actions for Catheter Removal (3 items); and the other instrument to measure the variable of adherence to hemodialysis treatment, consisting of 23 items with three Likert-type alternatives, divided into five dimensions: Factors related to the patient (4 items), Socioeconomic factors (5 items), Factors related to the provider, the multidisciplinary healthcare team, and the system (8 items), and Factors related to therapy (6 items).Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and practice on cardiopulmonary maneuver in the nursing professional of the emergency service of a national hospital, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-18) Vega Lujan, Rosa Yvette; Morillo Acasio, Berlina del RosarioThe objective of the research work is to determine how the level of knowledge and practice on cardiopulmonary maneuver is related in the nursing professional of the emergency service of a national hospital. This study will be quantitative, applied at a correlational level with a non-experimental design. With a sample that is proposed to 80 nursing workers in the emergency service, Technique and data collection instrument, the survey will be used as a technique and the instrument will be a questionnaire on knowledge and a CPR practice questionnaire, with a scale of dichotomous measurement. Procedures: the data will be collected after coordination with the institution within a certain time, with the corresponding informed consent, physically delivering the evaluation materials, maintaining distance and other biosafety protocols. The data obtained will be stored. Once the results are obtained, the results will be emptied into the matrix table so that they can then be presented in graphs and statistical tables. Matching will be carried out according to the item code according to its predictive value. Data processing will be carried out automatically, using a statistical program. The statistical significance test, Spearman correlation coefficient, will be used.
