Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge about biosafety and its relationship with the practice of the surgical center nursing professional of a national hospital Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-09) Vega Tello, Yomayda; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaGeneral Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about biosecurity and its relationship with the practice of nursing professionals in the surgical center. Materials and Methods: This is a non-experimental, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional research study with a correlational level. The population will consist of 80 nurses working in the surgical center area of the hospital under study. A census sample will be used due to the small population size, based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Two instruments will be used to measure the variables, both validated and reliable according to Peruvian standards. Data processing and subsequent statistical analysis will be carried out using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, version 23. The data obtained will be entered after sequential coding. During this process, data cleaning will be conducted, excluding questionnaires with at least one missing response for the main variables. To determine the relationship between the study variables, logistic regression will be applied to test the formulated hypothesis. The results obtained will be presented in cross-tabulations, bar charts, and other visual formats. Statistical analysis to establish the relationship between variables will be conducted using Spearman’s statistical test.Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of life in patients with drug-sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis treated in health facilities in the San Martin de Porres district(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-07-31) Vega Tello, Yomayda; Pérez Siguas, Rosa EvaObjective: This study sought to determine the quality of life in patients with sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis treated in health facilities in the district of San Martín de Porres, 2019.
