    Knowledge and practice on breast cancer prevention in patients of the medicine service of a Public Hospital, Lima - 2024

    Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, primarily affecting women. In its early stages, there are no evident symptoms. Furthermore, some factors increase the risk of developing breast cancer, such as obesity, family history, early menarche, exposure to radiation, among others. It is also characterized by the uncontrolled multiplication of cells in the breast, forming tumors that may spread to other parts of the body, which can be fatal. Therefore, it is crucial to know and adopt preventive measures against this disease. Objective: "To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practices regarding breast cancer prevention among patients in the medical service of a public hospital."
