Work modalities such as telecommuting, remote work, and hybrid work emerged as adaptations to continue work functions worldwide. In the case of Peru, according to the National Policy and Plan on Occupational Health and Safety 2017-2021 of the Ministry of Labor, the main occupational diseases affecting workers in the country include those caused by prolonged postures, such as dorsalgia, lumbalgia, and cervicalgia, which often lead to physical consequences in the way people work. This becomes even more important in the current context, as 57.2% of workers in Lima experience some level of work-related stress, which serves as a starting point for poor work quality of life and physical pain.
