Given this context, the 46th World Assembly of the International Council for Education for Teaching, held in Santiago (Chile) in July 2001, chose as a general theme the reform of teacher training from the point of view of the challenges involved in the change. Avalos, Beatrice (2002) The objective of this research work was to evaluate the teaching competences and their influence on the academic performance of the students of the subject of Biophysics at the Private University Norbert Wiener Lima 2017. The research is of applied type, with an evaluative level and a design not experimental, the population consisted of 84 students of the Norbert Wiener University, basic and complementary studies program that are the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, dentistry and human medicine, the sample was represented by the same number of the population. The technique used in the present study was the survey and the instrument, the questionnaire. For the validation of the hypothesis the Pearson correlation coefficient was used.
