Ítem Acceso abierto Stress and work performance in the health personnel of the emergency service in the Chancay hospital during the health emergency, 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-12) Ventocilla Dolores, Keytyly Diana; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosStress is identified in individuals regardless of profession or workplace; however, in the constant work of nursing professionals in the emergency area, it is experienced with greater intensity due to the high demand for care and associated stress factors. This is the main starting point for the proposal of the present study. Objective: To determine the relationship between stress and job performance among healthcare personnel in the emergency service at the Chancay Hospital during the health emergency. Methodology: The research will be quantitative, applied, correlational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional. The population will consist of 50 nurses who meet the study criteria. Inclusion criteria are nurses working in the emergency service at the Chancay Hospital who will sign the informed consent; nurses who are on health leave or unwilling to answer the questionnaire will be excluded. The study technique will be the survey, and the instrument used will be a questionnaire. The instruments belong to Román, which has been validated by expert judgment and has a high reliability of 0.881 and 0.804 Cronbach’s Alpha, respectively, considering ethical aspects.
