Ítem Acceso abierto Nutritional status of children aged 2 to 5 years and maternal nutritional knowledge at Cesar Vallejo Health Center in Villa María del Triunfo(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-02-28) Vila Ibarra, Alejandra; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeIntroduction: Child malnutrition, a public health problem that causes the inadequate development and growth of this age group to the point of being irreversible if corrective measures are not taken in time, in addition to causing future repercussions in society, which is why those most affected are underdeveloped countries, which have had a high prevalence of malnutrition for years. One of the main causes is the lack of knowledge of parents about adequate nutrition. Objective To determine if there is an association between the nutritional status of children from 2 to 5 years of age and the nutritional knowledge of mothers who attend the Cesar Vallejo Health Post, 2019 in the district of Villa María del Triunfo, Lima - Peru 2019. Methodology : The research presented has a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is an analytical cross-sectional correlational research. The sample will be made up of 64 mothers of children from 2 to 5 years old, obtained through the simple random sampling formula of sample proportion, with a sample reliability of 95% and a relative sampling error of 5%. The data collection technique is the survey and the instrument is the questionnaire (with validity by expert judgment carried out by the UPC).
