Ítem Acceso abierto Resilience and alcoholism in high school students at Educational Institution 6062-Peru-USA in Villa El Salvador, Lima – 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-01) Soria Barrientos, Carmen Rosa; Vilela Almeida, Sandy Celith; Pérez Siguas, Rosa EvaMaterial and method: The present study has a quantitative approach. Regarding the design, it is a non-experimental correlational study of an observational and cross-sectional type. The population was made up of 737 adolescents from Educational Institution 6062-Peru-USA. The instrument used was the Connor – Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), which allows knowing the level of resilience of adolescents and the Instrument of Alcohol Use Disorders Identification (AUDIT), which allows you to recognize symptoms of dependence and problems related to alcohol. Result: A medium level of resilience was obtained in 62.1% of those surveyed; However, when obtaining results according to their dimensions, it was found, in the spirituality area, that the majority presented a medium level (60.7%). Likewise, it was determined that 65.8% of the students are without an appreciable risk of alcoholism; When obtaining results according to their dimensions, it was found that in the area of dependency symptoms there are 81.0% of students. Conclusions: There is a relationship in the Resilience and Alcoholism variables according to the Pearson Chi-square statistical test, with a significant value of 0.00 (p > 0.05).
