    Relación entre la inteligencia emocional y el desempeño docente en una universidad pública, Andahuaylas 2023

    The research is entitled "Relationship between emotional intelligence and teaching performance in a public university, Andahuaylas 2023", objective: To determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and teaching performance in a public university, Andahuaylas 2023. Research methodology: the type of research was applied, the research method and design were non-experimental, cross-sectional-correlational. The population consisted of 164 teachers and the sample of 115. The instrument was used to collect data for the variable’s emotional intelligence and teaching performance. Results: According to the general objective, a positive mean relationship was determined between the emotional intelligence variable and teaching performance, the Rho Spearman result was 0.425 with a significance value of 0.000; based on this, the alternative hypothesis that proposes the existence of a significant correlation between both variables is accepted. Conclusion: A moderate positive relationship was found between the variable emotional intelligence and teaching performance in a public university, Andahuaylas 2023.
